Scout It Out is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Delhi. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes. You will develop data models and schema designs, implement data quality checks, and ensure adherence to data governance standards. Collaborating closely with data scientists and analysts, you will contribute to developing data-driven solutions and optimizing data storage and retrieval for enhanced performance and scalability.
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Strong programming skills in languages like Python or Java are essential. You should have a solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including experience with technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra. Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, data warehousing, and ETL processes is crucial. A foundational knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices is also required. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration abilities are key to success in this role, as you will be working on behalf of one of Scoutit's clients.
