Cognizant Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with 14-20 years of expertise to join our Chennai team. In this hybrid role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, and SQL (including PostgreSQL) to develop and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions on AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and implement RESTful APIs, and contribute to front-end development using React to enhance user experience. This position involves working with technologies such as Kafka, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and Go, with a focus on ensuring application security, scalability, and maintainability. You will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment and maintenance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and mentor junior engineers. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and relevant AWS certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer) are required. This is a day shift position with no travel required.
