Join Linde Engineering India as a Senior Advanced Process Control (APC) Engineer in Vadodara, Gujarat. You will lead advanced automation projects focused on procedural automation and sequence logic implementation. This role involves the installation and configuration of Linde's image recognition software, leveraging edge and cloud computing on Microsoft Azure. Collaborate with customers to identify improvement opportunities, estimate economic benefits, and work with Industry 4.0 technologies like Model Predictive Control (MPC), AI Plant Control, and Real-Time Optimizers (RTO).
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing advanced automation solutions for both Linde Gas and third-party customer sites.
- Supporting proposal generation and presenting solution concepts.
- Consulting on autonomous operations and training customer personnel on LAOS solutions.
- Continuously improving the value delivered by LAOS solutions.
- Contributing to the development of IT/OT products and platforms.
Extensive travel will be required. We are looking for individuals with a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, with over 5 years of experience in continuous process plants and automation. A strong understanding of P&IDs, unit operations, and advanced control strategies (MPC, RTO, advanced regulatory control) is essential. Proficiency in computer programming (Python, VBA, MATLAB, C++) and knowledge of IT/OT network architectures, operating systems, and communication protocols like OPC are required.
