Akamai Technologies is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Edge Servers QA team in Bengaluru/Bangalore, Karnataka. You will play a crucial role in testing Akamai's Edge Technology Platform & Products Engineering group, impacting the digital experiences of millions of users worldwide. This role involves developing automation infrastructure for product testing, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring system integration testing that replicates real-world scenarios. You will tackle complex software automation and verification challenges within large-scale distributed systems. As an SDET, you will contribute to system test plans, create and deploy automated system tests, and enhance testing methodologies to improve efficiency. You will also review product and system design requirements to ensure accurate test plans. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, demonstrated experience in Python test automation, and a passion for solving distributed systems problems.
