Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing complex, large-scale technology solutions, with a focus on payment-related applications on the Pega platform. You will contribute to setting company-wide engineering standards and best practices, review and analyze technology solutions against business objectives, and drive innovation in development and testing lifecycles.
Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, and documenting solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, IT, QA, and Release Management, to ensure successful technical implementation. A key aspect of this role involves providing coaching and mentoring on Pega development to team members and offering subject matter expertise and third-line support for production issues.
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in software engineering, Pega PRPC development, RDBMS/NoSQL development, and active participation in Agile methodologies. Experience in the payment industry and with payment-specific technologies is essential.
