Whatfix is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer (E5/E6) to join our AI/ML team in Bengaluru. You will play a key role in developing cutting-edge enterprise search solutions, leveraging your expertise in scalable infrastructure, natural language processing (NLP), and Generative AI. This is a unique opportunity to build a 0-to-1 product focused on information retrieval, search relevance, and user experience. You will architect and implement robust systems for indexing and querying, develop data pipelines, and collaborate with Product Managers to translate user needs into intuitive search experiences. You'll also mentor junior engineers and work across various engineering disciplines to deliver high-impact solutions. We are looking for engineers with a strong backend development background (Python, Java, or Go preferred), experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and a passion for building scalable, AI-driven products. Exposure to LLMs, vector databases, or RAG architectures is a plus. Join us in redefining how users interact with enterprise applications through AI.
