DevOps Engineer | CI/CD & Cloud Automation | Societe Generale Global Solution Centre

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru / Bangalore, Karnataka. As an Individual Contributor, you will play a crucial role in coordinating deployments, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and managing infrastructure for our Metrics Platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with feature teams to establish, maintain, and manage codebase and CI/CD pipelines.
• Validating CI/CD processes and ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Analyzing, correcting, and improving infrastructure-related issues.
• Installing and configuring new virtual machines, including security and network communication setup.
• Maintaining and evolving the monitoring stack.
• Providing support to development teams on infrastructure, network, and security topics.
• Performing impact analysis for requirements and implementing new technologies.
• Independently setting up automated frameworks and CI pipelines.
• Writing scripts for automating routine maintenance tasks.
• Communicating with stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines for applications independently.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in Jenkins for deployments.
• Experience with Unix administration.
• The ability to independently debug infrastructure issues.
• Intermediate knowledge of cloud platforms and tools for automated cloud deployments.
• Experience with Ansible, Groovy, and Shell scripting.

Desired (but not required) skills include Python scripting and basic knowledge of Java/Big-data, network communications, and the ELK stack.

Qualifications: * BE / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic record.
