Join Google Cloud as a Solutions Engineer in Bengaluru/Bangalore, Karnataka, and play a pivotal role in helping customers transform their businesses with cloud technology. You'll partner with sales teams to showcase the value of Google Cloud, acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer business challenges, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting proofs of concept and demos, and architecting integrated cloud solutions. You will present practical and effective solutions to both technical and business leaders, driving technical wins and defining initial delivery plans. This role requires blending sales acumen, market understanding, and direct technical engagement to identify and win new business workloads.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute technical account plans and strategies to support sales efforts.
- Design and present Google Cloud solutions through demos, pilots, and workshops, demonstrating the value of the platform.
- Architect cross-pillar cloud solutions and drive technical wins.
- Define initial delivery plans for customer solutions and lead technical engagements.
- Facilitate smooth post-sales transitions by supporting pricing and handover to implementation teams.
- Provide ongoing technical support during ramp-up, delivery, migration, or implementation phases.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.
- Experience translating customer objectives into integrated cloud solutions across multiple domains.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience selling technical solutions in areas such as Infrastructure Modernization, Application Modernization, Data Analytics, Cloud AI, or Migrations.
- Experience managing the entire sales cycle, including defining delivery and consumption plans.
- Experience building long-term technical strategies to uncover new workloads with customers.
- Experience with security concepts including encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and pen testing.
