L&T Technology Services is seeking a Lead MATLAB Simulink Engineer with 5-15 years of experience to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and validating advanced control systems for electric vehicle components. You will create high-fidelity models for electric motors and battery systems, encompassing their dynamic, thermal, and electrical characteristics. Your responsibilities will include designing and simulating motor control algorithms such as Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and sensorless control, alongside developing sophisticated torque and speed regulation strategies. You will also model battery behavior, including State of Charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), thermal dynamics, and degradation. A key aspect of this position involves integrating motor and battery models for comprehensive system-level performance analysis under diverse conditions. You will validate control strategies using virtual prototypes and refine models based on experimental data. Furthermore, you will optimize motor and battery control parameters to enhance efficiency, thermal management, and durability. This role requires knowledge of modeling product dynamics for torque load, vibration, and system interaction analysis, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to support embedded control implementation and product validation. A foundational understanding of Embedded H/W and F/W design is essential.
