Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering, providing innovative solutions for the semiconductor and display industries. We are seeking a highly motivated New Product Manufacturing Engineer – Electrical III (NPME‑EE) to join our SPG/Display Group in Bangalore, India.
In this critical role, you will drive the successful commercialization of new electrical products and features, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to high-volume manufacturing. You will be instrumental in reviewing, analyzing, and refining electrical designs to enhance manufacturability at both supplier and internal manufacturing sites. A key responsibility will be managing Engineering Change Orders/Numbers for design improvements and kit structure updates.
This position requires regular use of modeling and drafting tools such as P‑Cad, E3S, Creo, PDM, and NX. You will collaborate closely with global suppliers to resolve technical challenges, improve manufacturability, and assess their process capabilities. Success hinges on strong electrical design knowledge, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to effectively partner with engineering, supply chain, operations, and quality teams.
As a pioneer in a relatively new function, you will have a unique opportunity to establish best-known methods (BKMs), expand your skillset, and gain exposure to new tools, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on learning in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for creating manufacturing strategies, verifying schematics, performing virtual builds, and championing issue resolution during new product builds.
