Join an agile scrum team at S&P Global Market Intelligence as a Senior Software Engineer. You will be instrumental in modernizing and migrating our internal and product platforms using cutting-edge technologies. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the firm's growth by developing innovative features for existing and new products, while supporting high-revenue products. You'll apply best practices to deliver intelligent and economical solutions.
Responsibilities include completing the full SDLC (architecture, design, development, support), actively participating in scrum ceremonies and Agile best practices, building high-quality, scalable code, and producing technical design documents. You will collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design industry-leading applications, as well as resolve production issues.
We are looking for candidates with 6-10 years of hands-on experience in C#, React, .NETCore, SQL Server, and unit testing frameworks (xunit/nunit). A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent is required. Experience in developing applications with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bootstrap, CSS, and UI-based unit testing is essential. A strong understanding of design patterns, architecture principles, and SQL Server database performance tuning is expected. Excellent logical, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, are crucial. Proficiency in Agile and Test-driven development methodologies is also required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud-based platforms (especially AWS), containerization, NoSQL databases, and GQL APIs.
