We are seeking a talented C++ Software Engineer to join our mission-driven team. This remote freelance role focuses on developing and optimizing high-performance systems essential for our AI-driven platforms and large-scale data processing.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, clean, and scalable C++ applications. Your work will involve optimizing memory usage, latency, and overall system performance, with a strong emphasis on multithreading, concurrency, and low-level system components. You'll collaborate with teams to integrate backend systems and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure application reliability.
**Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications. * Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability. * Optimize memory usage, latency, and overall system performance. * Work on multithreading, concurrency, and low-level system components. * Debug complex issues and ensure application reliability and stability.
**Required Qualifications:** * 2+ years of hands-on C++ development experience. * Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts. * Experience with STL, memory management, and performance optimization. * Familiarity with multithreading and concurrent programming. * Understanding of system-level programming and debugging tools. * Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
**Nice to Have:** * Experience with Linux/Unix-based systems. * Familiarity with networking concepts or distributed systems. * Exposure to AI/ML systems or data-intensive applications. * Knowledge of build systems (CMake, Make) and version control (Git).
