Spiro Lifecare is seeking a skilled Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our Pune team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java applications leveraging Spring Boot and related frameworks. You'll build and integrate REST APIs and SDKs with our enterprise systems, working extensively with SQL databases for data modeling and querying. While SQL expertise is key, a strong understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis is highly valued. You'll be an integral part of our Agile development process, utilizing Jira for project planning and Git for version control. Your responsibilities will include participating in code reviews, comprehensive testing, debugging, and documentation. A significant focus will be placed on optimizing and tuning backend code for peak performance and scalability. Experience with containerized environments like Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus. You will collaborate closely with business analysts and senior engineers to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
