Barclays is seeking a skilled Salesforce Software Engineer to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. You'll leverage cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure, ensuring the seamless delivery of our digital solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and improving software solutions using Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
- Developing and maintaining Salesforce components, including third-party integrations and Salesforce APIs.
- Ensuring alignment with integration patterns and access control mechanisms.
- Enforcing and monitoring Salesforce security controls.
- Resolving problem records, incidents, and defects.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Reviewing and guiding technical implementation strategies.
- Leading and mentoring Salesforce developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders and contributing to strategic planning.
- Maintaining architectural integrity of the shared Salesforce instance.
- Ensuring compliance with enterprise security and governance policies.
- Driving continuous improvement in development and release processes.
- Utilizing GitLab for version control and CI/CD, managing merge requests, and enforcing branching strategies.
- Collaborating with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines and automation.
- Monitoring and optimizing Salesforce release cycles.
Ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, and DevOps tools, including GitLab for CI/CD. Experience with Salesforce Analytics and strong communication and business analysis skills are highly valued. This role is based in Pune, Maharashtra.
